Tiramisu Layer Cake

STEP 1:

Gather ingredients for the sponge cake

STEP 2:

Beat eggs & sugar until light, fluffy and tripled in volume.

STEP 3:

Fold in the dry ingredients. Add batter to a 8" greased pan.

STEP 4:

Gather ingredients for the coffee liquer.

STEP 5:

Mix together and put aside.

STEP 6:

Gather ingredients for the cream.

STEP 7:

Whip it together while the cake is baking and allow to chill.

STEP 8:

Allow baked cake to cool completely before flipping it out.

STEP 9:

Frost the cake and don't forget to sprinkle cocoa powder on top.
