Banoffee Tartlets

STEP 1:

Gather ingredients for the caramel sauce.

STEP 2:

Make the caramel sauce. Chill in the refrigerator.

STEP 3:

Gather all ingredients for the tart dough.

STEP 4:

Cream together butter and sugar. Add in dry ingredients.

STEP 5:

Make the dough and chill in the refrigerator.

STEP 6:

Split dough into 3 equal parts.

STEP 7:

Spread dough into tartlet pans.

STEP 8:

Line and fill with pie weights or lentils.

STEP 9:

Bake the tartlets. Allow to cool completely.

STEP 10:

Add spoonfuls of caramel sauce at the bottom. Top with a layer of sliced bananas.

STEP 11:

Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
